The Louise Archer Sunshine 5K and Fun Run

We are a few days away from the 3rd Annual LA5k and 1k races. The weather is looking perfect for the race itself and once again Louise Archer will be  “where the sun always shines”. There is a potential that the weather could be cold, so wear some layers. This race is a rain or shine event so in the case the weather changes we will still be there with big smiles.

Please find below information regarding packet pickup and course details. We are still in the need of a few volunteers to act as Race Coordinators along the course, this is a great chance for a High School student or Family member (over 15) to cheer on the runners throughout the course and also qualify for community hours – signup here.

As a reminder NO pets are allowed on the course for either the 1k or 5k races.

Packet pick-up and on-site registration is available Friday from 6-8pm at Donato's Pizza (126 Branch Road, Vienna) and Saturday from 6:30am-7:45am at the race site (Louise Archer Elementary, 324 Nutley Street, NW, Vienna).

There is parking available along Nutley Street and also at the Baptist church across from the school. There is also parking available at Madison HS a short walk through the back of the HS. There will no parking available at the LA parking lot.
