You are never to old to become a Cheerleader ... a Family Cheerleader that is!

The 2nd annual LA5K & Fun Run is October 16th and we are anticipating a wonderful turnout from our LA Community.  While we  continue to welcome business sponsors, we wanted to let our LA families know that there is a special opportunity to become a Family Cheerleader.

In addition to corporate sponsorship, we are looking for families to sponsor this event. Our intention is to have registration cover the cost of the event, so every dollar of sponsorship money goes straight to the PTA, where it will be used to directly enhance your child’s experience at Louise Archer. Some facts about family sponsorships:

  • All donations are tax deductible.
  • We accept donations of any amount and every dollar helps! Families who donate any amount will be thanked in the race brochure and on the Louise Archer website.
  • If you are able to donate $100, you can have the names of your family members printed on all race-day t-shirts.  We are hoping to fill block letters spelling "LA5K" with the names of all of our LA Family Cheerleaders to showcase our school spirit and the continued support from Louise Archer families!
  • Check with your employer and/or your spouse’s employer about possible matching gift programs. Many companies will match your donation dollar-for-dollar – doubling the impact of your gift!
  • If you are part of a business or know a business that would like to be part of this event, please let us know. It is a great opportunity to advertise to the entire Vienna community!

To donate, you can donate within "Online Registration" on the PTA Website, or download a sponsorship form here and mail the form and a check payable to Louise Archer PTA directly to: Louise Archer 5K Sponsorship, c/o Gail Marshall, 504 Woodland Court NW, Vienna, VA 22180.

NOTE: We need checks (and logos if desired) by 9/30 to get the T-shirts printed in time.
