The LA PTA in Vienna is gearing up to present the 2nd annual LA5K and Fun Run. With more than 450 runners plus family members cheering them on, our first 5K exceeded expectations. We are asking for your support to make this year’s event even more successful. Your business can benefit from the publicity of the LA5K and Fun Run with its wide audience of families from all over the greater Vienna area. We hope that you will see this as an opportunity to showcase your business in the local community while supporting the students of Louise Archer. As a magnet school, Louise Archer has a wider community because it serves students from all eight Vienna elementary schools. As you know, budget constraints have severely affected specialized programs that schools can offer and support. Funds raised will be instrumental in covering budget gaps from Fairfax County Schools’ budget for new technology and resources for teachers, books for the library, and extended learning opportunities outside the traditional classroom. The PTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and as such, donations are tax deductible to the extent that the law allows. We appreciate any amount of sponsorship, but we would especially love it if you would sponsor us at a silver-medal level or higher. Please note that as a medal sponsor, you can have your logo on the race t-shirts. The deadline for submission of your logo for the t-shirt is Friday, September 30. In addition, all sponsors may provide promotional materials to be placed in the race packets distributed to all runners. For more detailed information, please download a sponsorship form.
